I am a web designer, online consultant and SEO specialist and have successfully been working in that field for several years. Have I always been successful online? No. Noone ever saw or found the first websites I built.
That was back in ‘98 (could also have been ‘97 or ‘99) and I was discovering the endless possibilities of Microsoft Frontpage.
I was overwhelmed by seeing those websites go live. I was fascinated by the thought that from now on I could share myself with the world (social networking was not a topic back then).
Off course those websites didn’t get the response I was hoping for. It was far from it. Back then i completely lacked any knowledge whatsoever about SEO, content writing or usability.
Today I work as a web designer and online strategist for companies of all sizes and around the globe. I swear I have not taken another look at Frontpage in years 
.

Is it about making a fortune with little to no effort at all? Is making making your money with the help of online tools all about obscure funnel systems and tricking people? Do you think the DOT.COM lifestyle is about not having to meet and socialize with your clients? Probably it is about fast cars and fancy houses.

Let me tell you how I live DOT.COM.
My personal and professional lives have merged in a way that makes it hard to tell them apart. For me DOT.COM is about getting up early and staying up late to be able to meet with clients way east and west at times comfortable to them. Its also about creating value and being of service to clients and online visitors whenever they need me to be there. To be honest, there will be times when I just can’t reply right away. But I certainly look forward to connect with you even on weekend or during my private time.
Would you love that kind of lifestyle? Well, I do! I love to be there for people. I love to socialize and work with them and I’m thrilled to see them succeed partially because of my help.
The good news is that having a website and an online business that works for you doesn’t mean you have to apply my DOT.COM lifestyle to your life.

My family is scattered around the world. You can find branches from the USA, Canada, Norway, Germany, Austria to the French island Réunion and even Australia.
Currently I’m living in Austria with my family. That includes my wife Stephanie and our 3 kids. One more is scheduled to join in sometime around New Years.
After all the years I’m still getting more and more fascinated by the online word as the number of great services and cool tools to use is rapidly growing. I’m also a lot into creative technology such as digital photography and filming.
I love outdoor and family activities and have a great time traveling and socializing.

I have always been interested in communication, technology and socializing. Can you think of an education combining those three? I couldn’t so I ended up enrolling for a combined study program and now have a Master’s Degree in the combined studies of communication science, english and film from the University of Vienna.
